But I appreciate others will have had different experiences. My wifi connection in the house is rock solid. Even has a light sensing night light for one of the extenders. on the computer.adverts blocked at router level better than any application or browser based ad blocker. My ISP have me an Eero router and I feared the worst as I have never had a solid experience with ISP routers but the Eero experience has been amazing. Joy because the me router of usually faster than the old one bring replaced and stress because they're always some settings issues or not bring able to get the maximum out of the router. And when I get a new one I've always had a feeling of joy and stress. Really.I actually lucked out and enjoying the best router experience I've ever had. I will never, ever buy one of their products again, ever! Been a year an a half of bullshit with this thing even blocking my own blank websites in development. How would you like to suck funds from people indefinitely by making it so difficult for them to control the taking? The millions of devices out that they con buyers into getting sucked into a subscription of $100 per year. And to control what armor does, that's right, another app and service to log into that's not on your router. You can't log into your own router and control what it does, the firmware is so dumbed down now. Turns out, they won't let the user access any settings related to this. HUGE MISTAKE was going along with the Netgear Armor trial, which automatically charged a year subscription when the month ran out. Never worked right and it seemed any so-called solution created a handoff to another app or bullshit service I didn't want. Then had problems with parental controls. Some of these were necessary for traffic prioritization in my case.įinally had to live with that. Basically, the firmware (software periodically updated and contained in the memory of the device) had been changed to block the user/owner from accessing a shitload of settings. Had a number of problems with customization I needed. I went all-in when Netgear came out with the orbi system because it was supposed to be faster with enhanced wifi tech.
